Eat App integration
Last updated: 2026-09-16
Dromlik integrates directly with Eat App, the restaurant reservation and guest management platform, to bring guest recognition to every phone call your restaurant receives.
What it does
When a guest calls your restaurant, Dromlik shares the caller's number with Eat App the moment a staff member answers. Eat App instantly checks its guest book and pops up the caller's profile — name, visit history, notes, and past reservations — directly on the answering staff member's screen.
If the number belongs to an existing guest, staff see their full profile before the conversation even starts. If it's a new number, Eat App still shows a pop-up so staff can create a new guest profile on the spot, right from the call.
Key features
- Real-time caller recognition — guest details appear on-screen as soon as a call is answered, with no delay and no manual lookup required.
- Automatic call logging — every call is logged in Eat App, viewable at the restaurant level or under an individual guest's history.
- Missed call tracking — calls that go unanswered are logged as missed, so no potential booking or guest inquiry is lost.
- No change to how staff answer calls — the integration works invisibly in the background; staff keep using their phones exactly as before.
- No new hardware or phone numbers required — this runs on top of your existing Dromlik phone system.
How it works
- A guest calls your restaurant's number.
- The call is routed and answered through Dromlik as normal.
- The instant a staff member picks up, Dromlik notifies Eat App with the caller's number and which extension answered the call.
- Eat App matches the number against your restaurant's guest book and displays a pop-up with the guest's details (or a blank profile ready to fill in, for new callers).
- Staff can view guest history, notes, and create or update reservations directly from that pop-up, without leaving the call.
Requirements
- An active Dromlik phone system.
- An Eat App account with phone integration enabled (contact Eat App at sales@eatapp.co to activate this on your account if it isn't already).
- Your Eat App Restaurant ID, provided by Eat App.
- Each staff member's phone extension mapped to their corresponding Eat App user profile, under Phone Ext. in their Eat App account settings.
Setting up the integration
To connect Eat App with your Dromlik phone system:
- 1
Get your Eat App Restaurant ID
This is provided by Eat App when phone integration is enabled on your account. If you don't have this yet, reach out to Eat App support.
- 2
Map your extensions in Eat App
In your Eat App restaurant admin, open each staff member's user profile and set their Phone Ext. field to match their actual Dromlik phone extension. This tells Eat App which staff member's screen to show the pop-up on when a call is answered on that extension.
- 3
Request your webhook address from the Dromlik technical team
Contact us and we'll provide the webhook URL specific to your account.
- 4
Enable the connection in your Dromlik PBX
In your PBX admin, under API settings:
- Enable Call Status Monitor for all users
- Enable Webhook Event Push
- Add the webhook URL provided by the Dromlik technical team
- Set Request Method to
POST - Set Event to
Call State Changed - Save and apply
- 5
Share your Restaurant ID with Dromlik
Send us your Eat App Restaurant ID and we'll complete the connection on our side.
- 6
Share your extension-to-restaurant mapping with Dromlik
If your group operates multiple locations, let us know which extensions belong to which restaurant, so calls are routed to the correct Eat App location.
- 7
Test it
Once set up, place a test call to your restaurant's number and have a staff member answer it. Confirm the guest pop-up appears correctly on their screen in Eat App.
Multi-location restaurant groups
If your group operates multiple restaurant locations, each location is configured as its own separate connection, each with its own Eat App Restaurant ID. Calls are automatically routed to the correct location's integration based on which number and extension the call comes through — no extra setup is needed per call, but each new location does need its own Restaurant ID and extension mapping completed before it will work.
Missed calls
If a call goes unanswered, Dromlik notifies Eat App so it can be logged as a missed call in your restaurant's call history — helping ensure follow-up isn't missed on calls that couldn't be picked up in time.
Troubleshooting
Pop-up isn't appearing on the right screen. Double check that the staff member's Phone Ext. field in their Eat App profile exactly matches their real Dromlik extension number.
A known guest isn't being recognized. Confirm the phone number on the guest's Eat App profile is saved correctly, including the country code. Numbers must match exactly to be recognized.
