Configure function keys

Last updated: 2026-07-15

Function keys (also called BLF, DSS, or programmable keys) are the buttons next to the phone's screen. In Dromlik you assign each key a role — speed dial, BLF for a colleague, park slot, DND toggle, and so on — and Dromlik pushes the assignment on the next provisioning cycle.

Common key types

  • BLF (Busy Lamp Field) — shows a colleague's status and one-touch dials them.
  • Speed dial — dials a fixed internal or external number.
  • Call park — parks and retrieves calls from a shared slot.
  • DND / Presence — toggles do-not-disturb or a presence status.
  • Line key — an additional SIP line appearance.

Steps

  1. 1

    Open the phone in Dromlik

Go to Auto Provisioning, click the phone, and open the Function Keys tab.

  2. 2

    Assign each key

Pick a key type from the dropdown, then fill in the target (extension for BLF, number for speed dial, park slot ID for parking).

  3. 3

    Save and reprovision

Click Save, then Reprovision. The phone reloads its config and the new key labels appear on the screen.
