Getting started with hotel management

This is the shortest path from a fresh Drömlik account to a working hotel setup. Allow about an hour for a small property.

Before you start

  • Administrator access to the Drömlik admin console.
  • A list of your rooms with numbers and room types.
  • One in-room phone per room (or softphone running on the room's tablet).

Steps

  1. 1

    Enable the Hotel module

    In the admin console, go to Settings → Modules and switch Hotel on. The Hotel section appears in the left navigation.

    Create room types

    Under Hotel → Room Types, add the types you sell: Single, Double, Suite, etc. Each type has a default nightly rate and a default call permission profile.

    Create rooms

    Go to Configure rooms and create one room per physical room. Assign the room number, room type, and floor.

    Provision the in-room phones

    Auto-provision each phone and bind it to its room. The room number becomes the phone's internal identifier.

    Test a check-in

    Run a test check-in from the Drömlik App on the front-desk computer. Confirm the room shows as Occupied, wake-up calls can be scheduled, and outbound calls work.

  6. 6

    Train the team

    Walk reception through check-in and check-out, and housekeeping through the room status codes.
