Room status management

Room status is the bridge between housekeeping and the front desk. It tells reception which rooms are ready to sell, and tells housekeeping which rooms need attention.

The statuses

• Vacant – Clean: ready to assign.
• Vacant – Dirty: empty but needs cleaning.
• Occupied – Clean: guest in residence, already serviced today.
• Occupied – Dirty: guest in residence, awaiting daily service.
• Out of service: maintenance issue, not sellable.
• Inspected: optional — used by properties that double-check before selling.

The front desk can override any room status from the floor plan. Right-click the room → Set status.
