Configure voicemail transcription

Voicemail transcription converts each voicemail message into readable text. The transcript is attached to the voicemail email and shown next to the audio in the Drömlik App.

Prerequisites

  • Business plan or higher.
  • Voicemail is enabled on the extension(s) you want transcribed.
  • The legacy Speech-to-Text integration is disconnected — the two cannot run side by side.

Enable for all extensions

    Open AI → AI Transcription

    Sign in to the admin console and go to AI → AI Transcription.

    Switch on Voicemail Transcription

    Toggle the master switch at the top of the Voicemail Transcription panel.

    Pick a default language

    Leave on Auto-detect unless you know every voicemail will be in the same language.

    Choose where transcripts appear

    Tick Include in voicemail email and/or Show in Drömlik App.

    Save

    The change applies to new voicemails immediately. Existing voicemails are not back-transcribed.

Enable per extension

Open the extension's profile, switch to Voicemail → Transcription, and override the tenant default. Useful when only a subset of users should have transcripts.
