Update company information

Company information is the working context an AI Receptionist relies on for common questions: "what do you do?", "where are you?", "are you open right now?". Keep this section current and you'll save yourself a lot of knowledge-base entries.

Prerequisites

If your business operates across multiple time zones, make sure those time zones and the corresponding business hours are already configured in System Preferences → Date and Time and Call Control → Business Hours.

Open the Company Information tab

    Open the receptionist

    Go to AI → AI Receptionist and click the receptionist you want to edit.

    Switch to Company Information

    The tab contains free-text fields plus structured fields for hours and addresses.

Fields

  • Company core services — a short description of what your organisation does. Up to 5,000 characters. Don't write marketing copy; write what the receptionist should say in plain language.
  • Business hours — pulled from your global business hours schedule. Override here only when this receptionist serves a sub-team with different hours.
  • Addresses — primary and additional locations. The receptionist will read these aloud when a caller asks for an address.
  • Website — a single URL the receptionist can refer callers to.
  • Custom notes — anything else worth knowing (parking, current promotions, holiday closures).
