Configure call recording transcription

Call recording transcription turns each completed recording into a speaker-separated transcript. The text appears in CDR alongside the audio and feeds AI Call Summary and Sentiment Analysis.

Prerequisites

  • Business plan or higher.
  • Call recording is enabled on the extension, trunk, queue, or ring group whose calls you want transcribed.

Steps

    Open AI → AI Transcription

    Switch to the Call Recording Transcription panel.

    Switch the feature on

    Toggle the master switch.

  3. 3

    Scope

    Choose All recordings or pick specific extensions, queues, ring groups, or trunks. Scope to start with — you can widen it later.

  4. 4

    Enable summary and sentiment (optional)

    Tick Generate AI summary and Generate sentiment score if you want post-call insights too.

    Save

    Future calls are transcribed automatically. Historic recordings are not back-processed.
