Outbound campaigns overview
Last updated: 2026-06-20
An outbound campaign is a list of contacts plus the rules for how agents call them: which numbers to dial, which script to show, what counts as a successful outcome.
When to use campaigns
- Lead follow-up after a marketing event
- Customer satisfaction calls after a service
- Renewals, collections, appointment reminders
What's in a campaign
- Contact list — uploaded CSV or pulled from CRM
- Caller ID — the number contacts see when their phone rings
- Dialing mode — preview or progressive
- Script — optional on-screen prompt for agents
- Dispositions — outcomes agents pick after the call
- Retry rules — how often, how soon, when to give up
