Self-hosting overview

Self-hosting Dromlik means running the phone system on infrastructure you control — your own cloud account, a hypervisor in your data centre, or a physical server on-site. You keep full ownership of the operating system, the storage, the network, and the backup regime; Dromlik provides the installer, the license, and the software updates.

This section walks through the full self-hosting lifecycle:

• Deployment options — supported operating systems, environments, and installation methods.
• Server requirements — CPU, memory, disk, and network sizing for your user count.
• Obtain a license — trial and production licensing.
• Install on a cloud platform — AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, DigitalOcean, OVHcloud, Hetzner, Vultr, and others.
• Install on a virtual machine — VMware, Hyper-V, KVM, Proxmox VE.
• Install on a physical server — bare-metal installs on Dell EMC, Mini PC, and other hardware.
• Activate and initial setup — first sign-in via the web installation wizard or an XML file over SSH.
