Initial setup wizard
Last updated: 2026-05-29
The initial setup wizard runs once, right after activation. It collects the handful of settings Drömlik needs to start routing calls — your main phone number, business hours, and a first batch of extensions. You can change everything later from the admin console.
What the wizard configures
- Company profile — legal name, support email and main address (used on invoices and outbound caller ID).
- Main number — the phone number callers dial to reach you. Drömlik attaches it to the trunk included in your plan.
- Business hours — when the system treats calls as in-hours vs. out-of-hours. Routing rules read this.
- First extensions — up to 10 users you can add now to test the system. Bulk import comes later.
- Default destinations — where unanswered calls go in and out of hours (voicemail, queue, or external number).
Run the wizard
- 1
Confirm the company profile
Drömlik pre-fills the company name from your order. Add the support email and main postal address. These show on invoices and are used as defaults for outbound caller ID.
- 2
Attach your main number
Pick a number from the list of numbers included with your plan. If you're porting a number from another provider, leave the placeholder and complete the porting flow from Numbers > Port a number later.
- 3
Set business hours
Pick the days and times your team works. The defaults are Monday–Friday, 09:00–17:00 in your system time zone. You can add lunch breaks and holidays after the wizard.
- 4
Add a few users
Enter at least one extension for yourself so you can test calls right away. The wizard creates the extensions and sends each user a welcome email.
- 5
Choose default destinations
Decide what happens to unanswered calls. Sensible defaults: in-hours → main reception extension → voicemail; out-of-hours → voicemail with a closed-hours greeting. You can build richer routing later.
- 6
Finish
Click Finish. Drömlik saves the settings and drops you on the dashboard. Make a test call to your main number to confirm everything works end-to-end.
