Call Detail Record (CDR) overview
Last updated: 2026-09-19
A Call Detail Record (CDR) is one row of data describing a single call leg that passed through your Dromlik system — who called, who was called, when it started, how long it lasted, and how it ended. CDRs are the raw material behind call reports, troubleshooting, and billing reconciliation.
What a CDR contains
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Time | Date and time the call started. |
| Call from | Calling number or extension. |
| Call to | Called number, extension, queue, or trunk. |
| Call type | Inbound, outbound, internal, or callback. |
| Status | Answered, no answer, busy, failed, or voicemail. |
| Ring duration | How long the call rang before answer or timeout. |
| Talk duration | Time spent in conversation. |
| Trunk | The trunk the call used (for external calls). |
| Recording | Link to the call recording, if recording was enabled. |
Who can see CDRs
- Administrators see every call in the system.
- Supervisors see CDRs for the extensions and queues they manage.
- Users see their own call history in the Dromlik App only.
Retention
CDRs are kept for 12 months. If you need a longer history, export regularly — see Download CDR.
