Voicemail overview
Last updated: 2026-06-18
Voicemail lets your users, queues, ring groups, and IVRs capture messages from callers when no one is available to pick up. Drömlik stores recordings on the platform, transcribes them if you have AI enabled, and delivers them to the right inbox via the app, email, or an IP phone's message-waiting indicator.
Where voicemail lives
- Extension voicemail — one mailbox per user. Used when an extension is busy, doesn't answer, or is on Do Not Disturb.
- Group (shared) voicemail — a single mailbox that several extensions can monitor. Common for sales and support.
- Inbound route voicemail — drop calls straight into a mailbox based on the dialed number.
- IVR and ring group voicemail — send callers to a mailbox from a menu option or after the group times out.
What you can configure
- Global voicemail settings — defaults for the whole tenant.
- Voicemail greetings — personal and shared.
- Notifications — email, MWI, and app push.
- Forward calls to voicemail from extensions, IVRs, ring groups, and inbound routes.
- Auto-clean old messages to stay within storage limits.
